Australia’s 26th Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd will be addressing the AIIA NT’s inaugural event to discuss the global opportunities that exist for the Northern Territory, especially as Australia increasingly looks to Asia strategically, politically and economically. Mr Rudd will draw on his experience as Australia’s Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Inaugural President of the Asia Society Policy Institute in New York, as well as his in-depth insights into the complex and diverse challenges and opportunities that exist within Asia. Mr Rudd will address the Territory’s unique potential to be Australia’s gateway to Asia, and the challenges faced as a result of the US-China trade war. Mr Rudd’s address will be followed by an audience Q&A.
